# 故宫

故宫是明清两朝的皇宫，位于今北京市中心，现为故宫博物院。

## 概况

故宫又称紫禁城，是中国明清两朝二十四位皇帝的皇宫[^zhwiki]。始建于明成祖永乐四年（1406年），永乐十八年（1420年）落成，位于北京中轴线中心[^zhwiki]。1987年列入《世界文化遗产》名录，现为故宫博物院[^zhwiki]。
