Beijing BRT Line 1, also known as BRT1 or the Southern Central Axis BRT, was the first bus rapid transit line in mainland China. It opened in full on 30 December 2005 and now runs about 11.2 km from Demaozhuang to Shazikou with 14 stops. It is operated by the Trolleybus Division of Beijing Public Transport Group.
