# KVB – Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe

The KVB – Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe AG operates the light rail and city bus services in Cologne.

## Overview

The KVB – Kölner Verkehrs-Betriebe AG is the municipal transport company of the city of Cologne. Founded in 1897, the company operates the Cologne light rail network as well as an extensive omnibus network with around 60 bus lines and about 300 buses. Since 2016, an all-electric bus fleet has run on line 133. The KVB is a member of the Verkehrsverbund Köln (VRS).

## Bus network

The Cologne city bus network comprises around 60 lines with the line focus in the 1xx range. Important hubs are the Hauptbahnhof and the Breslauer Platz as well as the ZOB Köln.
