# Nobel Foundation

The Nobel Foundation is the Swedish private foundation that manages the fund created by Alfred Nobel’s will and administers the Nobel Prize.

**The Nobel Foundation** is a Swedish private foundation established under the will of Alfred Nobel (1895). It manages the fund and provides the prize money for the Nobel Prizes[^s1]. The statutes set 10 December as the festival day of the Foundation, when the ceremony is held in Stockholm[^s1]. NobelPrize.org publishes each year’s laureates by prize and year[^s2].
