Both Wikidata and the Chinese Wikipedia article are titled 崔禹, so the heading stays as it is. Wikidata describes him as a general of Eastern Wu, gives the state of the work's setting as Wu, and records his death in 221.[^wikidata][^zhwiki] ## In the novel Chinese Wikipedia says he is a subordinate general of Zhu Ran of Eastern Wu. In the battle of Yiling, Liu Bei's officers Wu Ban, Feng Xi and Zhang Nan decided to raid the camp by night, and a soldier who pretended to surrender secretly told Wu of the planned night attack. Zhu Ran wanted to go out and fight, but Cui Yu said that a common soldier's words could not be fully trusted, volunteered to take Zhu Ran's place in the field, and Zhu Ran held the water camp steady. Cui Yu led ten thousand troops out, fell into an ambush, and was captured by Zhang Bao and taken to Zigui. Liu Bei ordered him beheaded and then attacked Zhu Ran, who fled in rout.[^zhwiki] ## Basic facts - Description: fictional character in Romance of the Three Kingdoms, general of Eastern Wu[^wikidata] - State of the work's setting: Wu[^wikidata] - Death: 221 (within the work)[^wikidata] - Appears in: [[work_cn_q70806|Romance of the Three Kingdoms]] /people/cui-yu-q11477179.html en zh en 221 221 Character in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms true literary character relation_cnworks_depicts_q70806_q11477179 work_cn_q70806 depicts person_cn_q11477179 work_cn_q70806 wikidata work_cn_q70806 The Romance of the Three Kingdoms /en/works/romance-three-kingdoms-q70806.html true work_cn_q70806 The Romance of the Three Kingdoms /en/works/romance-three-kingdoms-q70806.html work depicts relation_cnworks_depicts_q70806_q11477179 work_cn_q70806 depicts person_cn_q11477179 work_cn_q70806 wikidata work_cn_q70806 The Romance of the Three Kingdoms /en/works/romance-three-kingdoms-q70806.html true en zh en death_date 221 is_fictional yes person_category literary character disambiguation Character in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms 1 50 1 1 1 1
