Wikidata's Chinese label is written 梁興, or 梁兴 in simplified characters, and the Chinese Wikipedia article carries the same title, so the heading stays as it is. Wikidata records his death in 212 and his state as Eastern Han.[^wikidata][^zhwiki] ## Killing Li Jue Chinese Wikipedia records that in 198, under the command of Pei Mao and Duan Wei, Liang Xing and Zhang Heng and others killed Li Jue, who had fled to Huangbai city, and sent his head to Cao Cao.[^zhwiki] ## The battle of Tong Pass In 211 Liang Xing joined Ma Chao, Han Sui and the other leaders of the so-called ten generals of Guanzhong in rising against Cao Cao's advance west, which set off the battle of Tong Pass. In 212 he was killed in a campaign by Xiahou Yuan and Zheng Hun. The article adds that in chapter 59 of the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms he is killed by Ma Chao after Jia Xu's scheme of sowing discord, which is a different matter from the historical events above.[^zhwiki] ## Assessment The article quotes two comments. Chen Lin said that the Guanzhong generals had gathered again and rebelled, holding the two Hua mountains and the Yellow and Wei rivers, driving the Qiang and Hu before them and heading east together with high spirit, as though unbeatable. Hu Sanxing said that the western troops were then the strongest and best, yet were broken by Cao Cao because their discipline was not unified.[^zhwiki] ## Basic facts - Death: 212[^wikidata][^zhwiki] - State or dynasty: Eastern Han[^wikidata] - Derived figure: [[person_cn_q124328613|Liang Xing]] (character in Romance of the Three Kingdoms) /people/liang-xing.html en zh en 212 212 historical figure relation_cnportray_q124328613 person_cn_q124328613 based_on person_cn_q1146630 作品中的人物形象，原型为该历史人物。 person_cn_q124328613 wikidata Portrayals person_cn_q124328613 Liang Xing /en/people/liang-xing-sanguo-q124328613.html true person_cn_q124328613 Liang Xing /en/people/liang-xing-sanguo-q124328613.html person based_on Portrayals relation_cnportray_q124328613 person_cn_q124328613 based_on person_cn_q1146630 作品中的人物形象，原型为该历史人物。 person_cn_q124328613 wikidata Portrayals person_cn_q124328613 Liang Xing /en/people/liang-xing-sanguo-q124328613.html true en zh en death_date Death 212 person_category Person category historical figure 1 50 1 1 1 1
