Ruhua is a character in the novel Dream of the Red Chamber, the senior maid of Jia Xichun. Both Wikidata and the Chinese Wikipedia article are titled Ruhua, and Wikidata also lists the traditional-character form. The name is the maid's given name and there is no separate personal name, so the heading stays Ruhua. The story is set in the dynasty of the novel, and she is recorded as female.[1][2]
Driven out of the garden
According to the Chinese Wikipedia article, when the Grand View Garden was searched, the searchers found that Ruhua had privately kept things that Jia Zhen had given to her brother. Xichun feared being dragged into trouble and felt that she herself had lost face, so she ignored Ruhua's bitter pleading. Wang Xifeng and Madam You spoke up for the maid, but Xichun still drove her away by force. The article adds that the book never mentions her fate again.[2]
