    "body": "## Overview\n\nThe station was opened on 20 September 1980 as the 15th station of the Nuremberg U-Bahn and was the terminus of the [[concept_ubahn_nuernberg_u2|U2]] until 24 September 1988. It lies beneath the Plärrer, Nuremberg's largest inner-city traffic node after the Bahnhofsplatz, and is used by around 55,900 passengers daily. The operator is [[organization_vag_nuernberg|VAG Nürnberg]].\n\n## Services\n\n- U-Bahn: [[concept_ubahn_nuernberg_u1|U1]], [[concept_ubahn_nuernberg_u2|U2]] and [[concept_ubahn_nuernberg_u3|U3]]; both levels have track connections towards Fürth, Röthenbach and the Messe (trade fair)\n- Tram/bus: Transfer to the tram (stop on traffic level 0) and to city bus lines\n\n## Station layout\n\nLaid out as a directional station, it extends over four levels: a distribution floor (−1) and two platform levels (−2 and −3), each with an island platform at which all three lines stop. Numerous artworks can be seen on the platform walls.",
