Dong He (died 221), courtesy name Youzai, came from Zhijiang in Nanjun, with ancestors from Jiangzhou in Ba commandery. He served under Liu Zhang and then Liu Bei. The Records of the Three Kingdoms describe his frugal rule in local posts and his sincerity toward the southern tribes, and say that he later shared the running of Liu Bei's headquarters with Zhuge Liang.[^zhengshi]
