慕尼黑火车总站于1839/1849年首次投入运营，拥有32条地面轨道、两条城市快铁（S-Bahn）隧道轨道和两座地铁车站，是德国最重要的枢纽车站之一，每日旅客约40万人次。

## 概况

1848/1849年起，今站址处建有第一座车站；车站的历史可追溯到1839年的临时 Marsfeld 车站。这座尽头式车站是德国铁路客流量第三大的长途车站，仅次于汉堡和美因河畔法兰克福，每日旅客和访客约40万人次。如今的站厅主体区域（11–26道）建于1960年；自2019年起，车站和站房作为“第二主干线”（Zweite Stammstrecke）项目和车站优化改造的一部分正在改建。

这座尽头式车站拥有32条地面站台轨道；此外还有两条 S-Bahn 隧道轨道和两座地铁车站。车站区域面积约为76万平方米。
