Gemini 4 Carbon은 [Google DeepMind](/ko/organizations/google-deepmind.html)가 2026년 10월 28일 발표한 프런티어 인공지능 모델이다. [Google](/ko/organizations/google.html)은 이를 자사 최고 성능 모델로 규정하고 사이버 보안 방어와 장기 작업 처리 능력을 강화했다.

## 발표와 제공 범위

Carbon은 9월 30일 발표된 [Gemini 4 Argon](/ko/works/gemini-4-argon.html)과 같은 안전·방어 체계를 이어받는다. 발표 시점에는 심사를 거친 소수의 사이버 방어 담당자에게만 제공되었고, 이후 Fairwind 프로그램을 통해 신뢰받는 파트너로 확대한 뒤 개발자, 기업, 소비자에게 순차적으로 제공할 예정이다. Google은 미국 정부의 프런티어 모델 출시 전 자발적 테스트에 참여하고 있다고 밝혔다.

Google이 공개한 사이버 보안 평가는 보호 장치를 끈 조건에서 진행되어 SEC-bench Pro 취약점 발견 88.2%, ExploitGym 악용 가능성 검증 54.8%, CWE-bench(Collinear) 근본 원인 수정 71.0%를 기록했다. 안전한 코드 생성 성공률은 Argon의 두 배 이상, 고심각도 정렬 불일치 경고는 약 80% 감소, Gray Swan 간접 프롬프트 인젝션 공격 성공률은 0.0%라고 밝혔다.
