布赖恩·约瑟夫森是预言约瑟夫森效应的物理学家，1973年诺贝尔物理学奖得主之一。

**布赖恩·约瑟夫森**（Brian David Josephson，1940年1月4日—）出生于加地夫（英国）。

## 生平与职业生涯

约瑟夫森在剑桥大学学习，长期任教于剑桥大学卡文迪什实验室，从事超导理论研究。[^s3][^s4]

## 主要成就

约瑟夫森在22岁时预言，超导隧道结中的库珀对可无电压通过绝缘层并产生电流，这一约瑟夫森效应成为超导量子干涉仪等精密测量的基础。[^s3][^s4]

## 获奖

1973 年诺贝尔物理学奖由 3 位得主共享，布赖恩·约瑟夫森占其中 1/2 份，官方获奖理由（官方原文）：“for his theoretical predictions of the properties of a supercurrent through a tunnel barrier, in particular those phenomena which are generally known as the Josephson effects”[^s1]。获奖时所属机构为 University of Cambridge，所在地为剑桥（英国）[^s1]。
