## 生平

向宠为蜀汉官员向朗之侄。刘备在位时任牙门将，夷陵之战随军伐吴，蜀军溃败时唯其营保存最完整，受刘备称赞。223年刘禅即位后封都亭侯，任中都督，统率宿卫兵；诸葛亮北伐前在《出师表》中向刘禅推荐向宠，称其“性行淑均，晓畅军事”。后任中领军。240年，向宠在征讨汉嘉郡外族叛乱时遇害。[^zhwiki]
