# 元大都

元大都是元朝的都城，故址在今北京市市区。

## 概况

元大都是元帝国的首都，在今北京市[^wikidata]。至元四年（1267年）起为元朝京师，城址北至元大都城垣遗址公园、南至长安街一线、东西至北京二环路一线[^zhwiki]。元大都的蒙古语名汗八里（Khanbaliq），意为“可汗的大本营”[^zhwiki]。1368年元顺帝北走，大都为明军攻取。
