崔琦（Daniel C. Tsui，1939年2月28日—）是1998 年诺贝尔物理学奖得主之一。

**崔琦**（Daniel C. Tsui，1939年2月28日—）出生于河南省（中华人民共和国）。

## 生平与职业生涯

崔琦在香港培正中学毕业后赴美，在伊利诺伊州奥古斯塔纳学院获得学士学位，在芝加哥大学获得博士学位，1968年起在贝尔实验室工作，1982年起任教于普林斯顿大学。

## 主要成就

1982年，崔琦与霍斯特·施特默在极低温与强磁场下的二维电子系统中观测到分数量子霍尔效应：霍尔电导在分数填充因子处出现平台。这一现象不能用单电子理论解释，罗伯特·劳克林随后提出分数量子霍尔态中的准粒子携带分数电荷，三人因此共享诺贝尔奖[^s1]。1984年，崔琦获美国物理学会巴克利奖；1988年，他与施特默、劳克林同获富兰克林奖章[^s3]。

## 获奖

1998 年诺贝尔物理学奖由 3 位得主共享，崔琦占其中 1/3 份，官方获奖理由（官方原文）：“for their discovery of a new form of quantum fluid with fractionally charged excitations”[^s1]。获奖时所属机构为 Princeton University，所在地为普林斯顿（美国）[^s1]。
