爱德华·布赫纳（Eduard Buchner，1860年5月20日—1917年8月13日）是1907 年诺贝尔化学奖得主。

## 生平与职业生涯

爱德华·布赫纳在慕尼黑大学学习化学，师从阿道夫·冯·拜尔，1888年获博士学位，先后在慕尼黑、基尔、蒂宾根、柏林农学院、布雷斯劳和维尔茨堡等地任教和研究。他的兄长汉斯·布赫纳是卫生学教授，兄弟二人在酵母与发酵研究上多有交流[^s3]。

## 主要成就

1897年，布赫纳发表《无酵母细胞的酒精发酵》，证明用压榨法制得的无细胞酵母提取物（“压榨汁”）仍能使糖发酵产生酒精和二氧化碳，显微镜检查确认其中并无活酵母细胞。这一结果表明发酵并不必然依赖活细胞，而是由细胞内产生的特殊物质——后称酶——驱动的，奠定了现代生物化学与酶学的基础[^s1][^s3]。

## 获奖
