德裔瑞士作家赫尔曼·黑塞（Hermann Hesse，1877年7月2日—1962年8月9日），获1946年诺贝尔文学奖。

**赫尔曼·黑塞**（Hermann Hesse，1877年7月2日—1962年8月9日）出生于卡尔夫（德国），1962年8月9日在蒙塔纽拉（瑞士）去世。

## 生平与职业生涯

黑塞生于卡尔夫的传教士家庭，中途离开毛尔布隆神学院，做过书店学徒；1899年发表诗集，1904年以《彼得·卡门青》成名；1912年定居瑞士，1923年加入瑞士国籍[^s4]。

## 主要成就

他的代表作有《德米安》（1919年）、《悉达多》（1922年，写佛陀时代求道者的精神探索）、《荒原狼》（1927年）、《纳尔齐斯与歌尔德蒙》（1930年）和最后一部长篇小说《玻璃球游戏》（1943年）；作品以个人自我认知与精神探索为主题，融合东方思想与心理学的影响[^s3]。

## 获奖

1946 年诺贝尔文学奖授予 赫尔曼·黑塞，官方获奖理由（官方原文）：“for his inspired writings which, while growing in boldness and penetration, exemplify the classical humanitarian ideals and high qualities of style”[^s1]。
