## 生平与职业生涯

德里克·沃尔科特生于圣卢西亚，在西印度群岛大学牙买加分校受教育，1953年移居特立尼达从事戏剧与艺术评论，1959年在特立尼达创办特立尼达剧场工作室，诗集《绿夜》（1962年）为他带来突破，长期从事诗歌与戏剧创作，后任教于波士顿大学。[^s3][^s4]

## 主要成就

沃尔科特的代表作包括诗剧《猴山之梦》和史诗《奥梅罗斯》（1990年），后者把荷马史诗的框架移植到当代加勒比渔村，以加勒比人的生活重写古典神话，被视为后殖民文学的里程碑。他的诗歌融合古典传统与加勒比口语、风景与历史，诺贝尔奖表彰其“闪耀着历史视野的诗作”[^s1]。
