米其林集团由安德烈与爱德华·米其林于1889年在法国克莱蒙费朗创立，出版《米其林指南》。指南最初为驾车者提供旅行信息，1920年改为售卖；餐厅星级始于1926年。

米其林集团由安德烈·米其林与爱德华·米其林兄弟于1889年在法国克莱蒙费朗创立，出版《米其林指南》，并按覆盖地区发布餐饮指南[^guide]。

## 指南起源

指南最初旨在鼓励驾车出行，为旅行者提供地图、轮胎更换与加油信息，也列出用餐和住宿地点。早期指南免费发放；1920年起改为付费销售，并首次按类别列出巴黎餐厅和酒店，同时取消付费广告[^guide]。

## 餐厅评审

随着餐厅栏目影响扩大，指南开始安排匿名评审员到店考察。1926年首次向高级餐厅授予星级，起初只有一星；1931年形成零星至三星的等级体系，1936年公布星级评定标准[^guide]。

截至指南官方介绍页所述，指南覆盖三大洲30多个地区、评审超过30,000家餐饮场所，全球累计售出超过3,000万册[^guide]。
