Overview

The Berlin – Munich route (approx. 585 km by road) is one of the longest domestic German coach trunk routes and links the federal capital with the Bavarian state capital. The main operator is Flixbus; the journey time is around 7 to 9 hours depending on the connection and intermediate stops (e.g. in the Leipzig, Nuremberg or Munich-Freimann areas). Overnight journeys are partly offered at night. The route is an alternative to rail and air, especially for price-conscious travellers.
