Overview
The Hamburg – Berlin route (approx. 290 km) is one of the most important German long-distance coach connections and links the two largest cities of northern and eastern Germany. The main operator is Flixbus; the journey time is around 3 to 4 hours depending on the connection, partly with intermediate stops in the Ludwigslust-Parchim area or at additional Berlin stops such as Berlin Südkreuz. The connection is an inexpensive alternative to the train on one of Germany's most frequented routes.
