History
On November 10, 2018, the female idol group Marionette was unveiled at WOMB in Shibuya by MITSUME SESSION, led by producer Wataru. The six founding members were Fumimi Hoshina, Kaori Fukatsuki, Azusa Kuru, Aguri Momose, Yui Hoshijima and Hinata Ninose. The name was coined by dropping the final "te" from "marionette", expressing the idea of not being a manipulated puppet[1].
The group released its first mini album, Katahou Bun no Fantasy, on April 27, 2019, and performed on all days of TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2019 that August. Its second album, Hello, CRAZY CRAZY World!!, followed on January 19, 2020[1].
On April 1, 2020, two new members, Rito Hinami and Aina Hiragi, joined, and the group was renamed Worl's End.[1]
On March 19, 2022, the group announced it would disband on April 9, and it disbanded on that date. Afterwards, the members other than Aguri Momose, who was suspending entertainment activities for health reasons, formed the new group Merry BAD TUNE.[1]
