Bihen is a character in the novel Dream of the Red Chamber. Wikidata names her Bihen. The cited article says the name is also written Bilang. Both forms appear, so the title stays Bihen. She is a maid of Jia Baoyu, which is how this entry records her, and the story is set in the dynasty of the novel.[1][2]
Her work
She draws Jia Baoyu's bath and attends him while he washes. The article says she appears in chapters 20, 24, 26, 31, and 77. Qingwen says that one bath Bihen prepared for Baoyu lasted two or three double-hours, that the water on the floor reached the legs of the bed, and that the mat was soaked as well.[2]
Xiaohong
She got on badly with Xiaohong, another young maid beside Baoyu, and often scolded her.[2]
