Character in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms

Dailai Dongzhu is a fictional character in the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Wikidata's simplified Chinese label is Dailai Dongzhu, and the English label is Dailai Dongzhu. No separate personal name is given. Dongzhu is a title, so the heading stays as it is. This entry calls him the younger brother of Meng Huo's wife, and the story is set in Shu Han. The article also calls him a descendant, in legend, of Zhurong, the fire spirit.[1][2]

Around chapter 90

He is the younger brother of Lady Zhurong, Meng Huo's wife, and a leader of the eight fan. After Zhuge Liang released Meng Huo for the fifth time, Meng Huo fled to his home at the Silver Pit Cave. Dailai Dongzhu recommended King Mulu, who drove wild beasts against the Shu army. After Zhuge Liang defeated King Mulu, Dailai Dongzhu bound Meng Huo and his wife, pretended to surrender, and meant to assassinate Zhuge Liang. Zhuge Liang saw through it. That was the sixth capture of Meng Huo. After the sixth release, Dailai Dongzhu recommended Wutu Gu, lord of Wuge, and the rattan-armor army. They were defeated. Dailai Dongzhu then submitted to Shu Han together with Meng Huo and his wife. The article places this in chapter 90.[2]
