Jia Fu is a character in the novel Dream of the Red Chamber. Wikidata's Chinese label is Jia Fu, in traditional characters in one form and simplified in the other. It records him as a character of the novel, set in the dynasty of the novel, and it is his name in the book, so the heading stays the same. Wikidata also records his father as Jia Daihua and his brother as Jia Jing.[1]

The Chinese Wikipedia list of Dream of the Red Chamber characters places Jia Fu among the generation whose names carry the radical 攵, and describes him as the eldest of the senior branch of the Ning house, the eldest son of Jia Daihua and the elder brother of Jia Jing, who died young. His first appearance is in chapter 2. The same list says under Jia Daihua that his sons were Jia Fu and Jia Jing. The list records nothing more about him, so nothing further is added here.[2]
