李白，字太白，興聖皇帝九世孫。其先隋末以罪徙西域，神龍初，遁還，客巴西。白之生，母夢長庚星，因以命之。十歲通詩書，既長，隱岷山。州舉有道，不應。蘇頲為益州長史，見白異之，曰：「是子天才英特，少益以學，可比相如。」然喜縱橫術，擊劍，為任俠，輕財重施。
