Subhuti · Versions

Patriarch Subhuti, fully named Patriarch Subhuti of the Xu, is Sun Wukong's teacher in Journey to the West. He teaches the seventy-two transformations, long life, and the cloud somersault, and he forbids Wukong to reveal the school. The article gives several accounts of who he really is, so the title stays.
