Zhu Youxiao was a Ming emperor. His temple name was Xizong and his era name was Tianqi. The simplified Chinese Wikidata alias is Zhu Youxiao, and the English alias is the same spelling, so the title uses that personal name rather than the temple name.[1] This entry records his birth on 23 December 1605 and his death on 30 September 1627.[1]
The cited history
The Ming History juan attached to this entry is juan 10. Its heading is the former annals of Yingzong, and the opening gives that emperor's personal name as Qizhen, eldest son of the Xuande Emperor. The passage read there does not mention Xizong, the Tianqi era, or Zhu Youxiao. Those events are not transferred to this entry.[3]
