Chapter 52

He is a senior commander of Liu Du, governor of Lingling, and he wields a mountain-splitting axe. When Liu Bei attacked Liu Du, Xing Daorong and Liu Du's son Liu Xian tried to lay an ambush. Zhang Fei captured Liu Xian. Liu Bei later released him, and Liu Xian persuaded his father to surrender. Xing Daorong dueled Zhang Fei and Zhao Yun, was defeated, and was captured. He pretended to surrender, meaning to draw Liu Bei's army into a trap. The plan failed, and Zhao Yun killed him.[2]
