The Toronto & Region selections are regional editions focused on Toronto and selected nearby communities in Ontario; they do not represent a nationwide Canadian star count. The 2024 list named 16 starred restaurants (one Two Star and 15 One Star), and the 2025 list named 17 (one Two Star and 16 One Star).[2][3]
For 2026, the official Toronto & Region article reports 15 starred restaurants and no newly starred restaurants. The local record names Enigma Yorkville and Restaurant 20 Victoria only, so it is partial rather than a full list. See the 2026 named-restaurants record.[4]
These counts apply to the Guide's Toronto & Region selection, not all Canadian restaurants or all restaurants in Ontario.
