Overview
Dr. Han Xu is the founder and chief executive officer of WeRide and an internationally recognised expert in computer vision and machine learning, and a pioneer in autonomous driving research and deployment.
Career
He was a tenured professor at the University of Missouri and director of its computer and machine learning laboratory, and later served as chief scientist of Baidu's autonomous driving division. He founded WeRide in 2017 and has been founder and CEO since. He holds a PhD from the University of Illinois.
