Overview

OnTime Mobility (如祺出行) was launched in Guangzhou in June 2019 with GAC Group and Tencent among its founding investors. Its businesses cover mobility services (ride-hailing and Robotaxi), technology services (AI data and model solutions, high-definition maps) and fleet sales and maintenance for drivers and capacity partners.

History

After launch, OnTime brought in the autonomous driving solution provider Pony AI as a strategic shareholder. In 2022 it launched an open Robotaxi operations technology platform, becoming the world's first mobility platform to run human-driven ride-hailing and Robotaxi services commercially in a mixed operation; its Robotaxi service operates in the central districts of Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Besides its own fleet, the platform also connects capacity from GAC Research Institute and Pony AI. As of 31 December 2023 platform Robotaxi capacity reached 281 vehicles, with 20,080 hours of accumulated operation, 545 stations and 450,699 km of safe trial-operation mileage.

Listing

On 10 July 2024 OnTime Mobility (09680.HK) held its listing ceremony at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and its shares began trading on the Main Board, described as the first "autonomous driving operations technology" stock. CEO Jiang Hua said the company would continue to deepen its work on autonomous driving.
