Pertinence is a modern-cuisine restaurant at 29 rue de l'Exposition in Paris' 7th arrondissement. [1]

Overview

Ryunosuke Naito and Kwen Liew met in 2011 at restaurant Antoine: he, the Japanese chef trained in some of Paris's most prestigious houses (Taillevent, Le Meurice); she, the Malaysian. Just a short walk from the Champ-de-Mars, the couple runs this pared-back house — light wooden slats and Knoll chairs — understated, intimate and warm, very much in their image. At the stove they compose a four-handed market cuisine with intense flavours, giving French tradition a delicious lift. [1]
