Shabour is a creative-cuisine restaurant at 19 rue Saint-Sauveur in Paris's 2nd arrondissement, founded by the highly visible Israeli chef Assaf Granit. [1]
Overview
Chef Granit already owns a dozen restaurants across Jerusalem, London and Paris, and also hosts the local version of Kitchen Nightmares. He chose a 17th-century building in a lively quarter between rue Saint-Denis and rue Montorgueil. The restaurant carries his hallmarks: an unbridled atmosphere, raw décor (exposed metal ducts on the ceiling, softened lighting), and above all creative cooking with Mediterranean influences — generous, surprising and swept along by freshness. The MICHELIN Guide lists it as ideal for "watching the chef in action" and for solo diners. [1]
