Overview
Xiangdao Mobility (享道出行) is a smart mobility platform that integrates the resources of shareholders led by SAIC Group, covering personal mobility, corporate mobility and future mobility (Robotaxi) through ride-hailing, vehicle leasing, vehicle sales and Robotaxi services. Its prospectus shows SAIC Corporation and Changzhou Saike together hold 75.37%, as controlling shareholders, with Alibaba, Momenta and others also among the shareholders.
Robotaxi business
Xiangdao Robotaxi started operating in 2021. In 2023 it obtained Shanghai's first batch of intelligent connected taxi demonstration operation certificates and Suzhou's first batch of Robotaxi demonstration operation licences. In May 2025 Xiangdao entered a strategic partnership with the autonomous driving supplier Momenta and launched a Level 4 Robotaxi fleet in Pudong, Shanghai built on a mass-production-defined vehicle; in July 2025 Xiangdao Robotaxi, together with IM Motors and Saike Intelligence, received Shanghai's first batch of regulation-based driverless demonstration operation licences, and in August it launched a Level 4 Robotaxi route from the Shanghai International Tourism Resort to Pudong International Airport. The company reports more than 350,000 completed Robotaxi orders and over 4 million km of safe driving mileage.
Model and plans
Xiangdao follows a model of "operations platform + mobility-led customised vehicles + autonomous driving technology partners": SAIC supplies vehicles and supply chain support, Momenta supplies the Level 4 algorithm, and Xiangdao provides operating scenarios, dispatch and safety monitoring systems. In July 2026 the company launched the SAIC Robotaxi mass-production custom vehicle project at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, with the new model planned for 2027; it aims to achieve scaled commercial operation of Xiangdao Robotaxi in multiple Chinese cities before 2027. As of 31 December 2025 its services covered 26 provinces in China.
