Overview
Situated on the fifth floor of The Mandala Hotel, the restaurant is a real oasis of calm right on busy Potsdamer Platz: dine on the pleasant little terrace amid chestnut trees and a fountain, or inside the chic, light and airy rooftop garden restaurant, where wraparound glass windows make you almost feel outdoors, with beautiful bamboo plants nodding to Asia. Michael Kempf (culinary director) and Joachim Gerner (head chef) deliver top-notch cuisine.[1]
Dishes & Highlights
A perfectly cooked fillet of premium-quality char with dill, caviar and beurre blanc demonstrates a passion for classic cuisine, applied with the same skill to Mediterranean and Asian influences in dishes such as "Langustino from the Faroe Islands, rowan berries, carrots and curry herb". The five- to eight-course set menu powerfully showcases the fantastic ingredients, backed by an extremely attentive team including a masterful sommelier.[1]
