Overview
Zhuhu silver fish comes from the waters of Zhuhu Township; it is slender like a hairpin, translucent white and tender, and is one of Poyang's "three treasures"[1].
Fisheries
Zhuhu is surrounded by water on three sides and its fishery features silver fish and lake crab; Zhuhu silver fish was already known in the Tang and Song dynasties, and the fish are small and tender[2]. The township has 30,000 mu of fishable water[2].
